Abstract Submissions
We invite graduate students, postdocs, and research staff to submit an abstract for a poster presentation. Prizes will be awarded for the top poster presentation.
Abstract submissions are due Friday, April 12 at 11:59pm through the on-line abstract system only. (link below)
GENERAL INFORMATION
Posters should be mounted between 8:30 and 9:25am and must be removed by 4:00pm. Presenters must be available to answer questions during the poster session. Poster numbers will be assigned and will be available the morning of the retreat at the registration table.
PREPARATION OF ABSTRACTS
Abstracts must be submitted online by the presenting author in Microsoft Word (only).
- Include title of abstract, name and degree of all authors (bold and underline the name of the presenting author), and institutional affiliation (author name should be preceded by a superscript number corresponding to their home institution).
- The abstract may not exceed 300 lines and should include text only - no figures, text boxes, graphs or references.
- Font should be Arial 11 point. Text should be single spaced.
- Save file name of uploaded abstract with presenting author name (ex. lastname_firstname).
All abstracts will be accepted and will be available online. Authors should consider whether sensitive or unpublished findings are appropriate for such distribution.
If the original presenting author is unable to present the abstract, it is that person's responsibility to ensure that one of the co-authors takes over the role.

BOARD SPECIFICATIONS
Magnetic poster boards have a display area of approximately 40 x 72. Magnets will be available on-site for mounting posters.
JUDGING
The individual presenting the poster must be present during the entire session. Winners will be announced at the end of the retreat.
Odd numbered posters:
10:15 - 10:45 AM
Even numbered posters:
10:45 - 11:15 AM
