The Clinical Connections program requires trainees to spend at least four half-days seeing patients with a member (resident, faculty, fellow) of the Center for Pain Medicine and Regional Anesthesia Clinic. This exposure allows trainees to see the "face" of clinical pain and pain therapies. It serves to facilitate thinking about translational possibilities for research projects.
